All calculators, density constants, bag counts, tonnage figures, and retail cost comparisons provided on HomeYardMath.com are for informational and preliminary estimation purposes only. While we engineer our tools using standard US construction math and ASTM material bulk densities, actual material requirements will vary depending on soil moisture content, compaction machinery, excavation accuracy, and manufacturer packaging tolerances.
3. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall HomeYardMath.com, its owners, or its editorial contributors be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential financial damages resulting from material over-ordering, under-ordering, vehicle payload overloading, structural failure, or project delays arising from the use of our calculators. Always verify structural footing requirements (such as concrete piers and retaining walls) with local building codes and a licensed contractor or civil engineer.
4. Intellectual Property
